Boston’s Northeastern University in Seattle’s South Lake Union Celebrates Success
We love a good party, especially when the focus is celebrating innovation, education, inclusion and collaboration, this time with Northeastern University in the Northwest, Seattle specifically.
In 2013, Northeastern University opened a campus in Seattle with two programs and 32 students and about 500 square feet of space in South Lake Union, a neighborhood that developed seemingly overnight with the exponential rise of Amazon. Just ten years later, Seattle is one of Northeastern’s 13 global campus locations, with nearly 1,500 students, a dozen graduate degree programs, and hundreds of industry and community partnerships.
From the start, the Seattle campus has partnered with industry, government and academia to bring programs in high-growth fields to the Pacific Northwest allowing for the greater Seattle community to have many stakeholders at the table. This high level collaboration benefits both the STEM employer base as well as the students who live, learn and grow.
This celebration allowed for students to connect with alumni, industry stakeholders, faculty and staff during a time to reflect, celebrate and look to new horizons. It was an event to remember with catering by FOODZ, music and plenty of swag provided by Northeastern.
Documenting milestones of any level… is always a treat to be able to be a part of. Whether it’s an anniversary of sorts, a rebranding or a launch of a product, a fundraiser or an awards ceremony – we love to be able to help tell the story and shine the light on success, innovation, education, diversity and joy. Every event is worthy of visual assets that can encapsulate the energy, spirit and grit that goes into creating a life, a business or organization.
