As lifestyle + storytelling photographers that find joy in both wedding + event photography, we love being able to both nurture and forge relationships with other event professionals while also providing a showcase to the community. To be able to document the love and labor poured into creating memorable and magical moments, ensuring the details shine just as brightly as the emotions, is our thing. Documenting key milestones/moments and the community surrounding them so that the occassion is cemented in their memory forever, with our imagery as keepsakes… It’s our jam.
We also value being a part of curating vendors and highlighting epic venues, ensuring there is an alignment of ethos and values of inclusion, equity and social justice issues. When both aspects of this love meld together . . . it just feels good. That’s the general vibe of working with Parkview Event Space, newly rebranded top floors of Unity of Seattle to ensure folks who utilize the space feel safe and included while celebrating in community.
Collectively and tirelessly, we moved through long lists of qualified, professional and aligned event professionals for our first Open House at this space, Parkview Event Space. Working together with a team of caterers, florists, event planners, event rentals, and entertainers: magicians, DJs, musicians rounded out a space that was vibrant, welcoming and beautiful – showcasing the multitude of ways the venue can be utilized from board meetings to non-profit galas to weddings/anniversary parties given the three floors available inclusive of a professional kitchen, a stunning sanctuary, and a gorgeous rooftop terrace overlooking a park.
It took many hands, hearts and humans to pull this event off – and we’re so proud to have helped curate this open house to showcase the talent, wares and ways of fostering inclusive events. Check our teams out:
