They planned the wedding quickly given his family would be visiting the US. The important part was having their family and community together, not the pomp and circumstance that is commonly expected in many cultures. They had a simple and love-filled ceremony, the emotion that overwhelmed many… in both English and Spanish. Their family knew their hearts complemented each other. . . and that the rest would be history.
