We love when we start seeing little yellow postcards, or hearing “high time for pie time!” or getting texts “apple, pumpkin or pecan?” amongst some of the brokers of Metropolist Real Estate. . . it’s a fave. “Pie Night” has evolved since the inception of Metropolist in 2014, though it has remained the most arguably the most awaited + biggest client appreciation / holiday party / event of the year.
It’s also one of the most impactful community building events of year, as soliciting donations that bring warmth + comfort to REACH – one of the biggest beneficiaries of Metropolist’s goal of being more socially responsible for our houseless population. The owners at Metropolist pledge 25% of the profit of the company to support our houseless neighbors through a community partnership with Evergreen Treatment Services, specifically the REACH program, in hopes that we can make an impact not only on that organization and the people they serve but also by helping to educate and further the understanding of our brokers and clients along the way.
All in all it’s a warm, busy, festive event that celebrates Metropolist, their phenomenal brokers, their client/vendor community, and allows the space for sequins, holiday sweaters, solid eats/drinks, and a meaningful hug or two.
A little known fact about the broker population – they are not a monolith – there are some incredibly talented, creative and DIY divas within the group. And each year the backdrop/scene setting for our open air photo booth to ensure their clients have the opportunity for a fun, festive or downright silly photo opp for their people.
