Weddings. We love a good, love-filled wedding. Getting to know the couple, celebrating with them, giving them imagery that reflects the insurmountable joy experience their day. But, then the day is over and life goes on, business as usual. And then, sometimes, there’s a puppy, or a new pet fish, or something major happening… like a new home or a BABY! That’s what this post is about, this family’s new home and new baby. Sweet baby everything.
Lynne + Colin were married the summer of 2018 and had the most beautiful and celebrated day – if you want to relive those moments with us, you can do so here . They wrote to us sharing that they would be expecting a little one Summer of 2019 – and we couldn’t be happier for them. We got to meet their sweet wee one, see the new grandparents and document this new stage of life in the early stages of family.
We went to their warm and loving Phinney Ridge home on a late Sunday morning being met with light drizzles. The door opened and we were surrounded by the aroma of waffles and coffee with family seated around the dining room table, reading the paper, snuggling the baby. It was perfect setting for an in-home newborn photography session with this family. We like to do the unposed, life as it is, capturing the new normal… and a bunch of baby toes.
