The last Thursday evening of February 2020 was a fantastic culmination of Seattle event professionals hosted by DIWAS Photography, Madres Kitchen, Synchronicity Events and Metropolist. It was also one of the the last events we participated in before Covid19 arriving in the PNW in full effect and our family and business self-isolating. I’m grateful we were able to work with such phenomenal people – and we’ll continue highlighting their awesome as time goes on.
But back to the Event : Event Fresh Seattle was created as a collective effort by local women-owned, queer-owned and/or queer-friendly businesses. In addition to offering kick-ass professional event services, we share a passion for inclusivity and social justice. The idea is let’s work together on the right side of history, and create a better future for our world through shared experiences at live events. We joined forces to bring you our favorite curated visions and fresh trends for 2020 – before we realized it would be about the most moisturizing hand sanitizers or how to livestream an event to honor social distancing. If there is an event of any sort on your horizon (a wedding, a launch or corporate party, a private party, or a non-profit event), this was a powerful showcase to check out. Original ideas to help you leap into planning, as well as access to trusted, diverse, inclusive event professionals who can make your event dreams come true was demonstrated in a fun and fantastic way by our folks.
We are so grateful for our partners, collaborators and contributors of this fabulous, fun event.
